The Ukrainian Association on Crystal Growth (UACG, Ukrainian Association on Crystal Growth, UACG) was founded in 2003 and unites, on a voluntary basis, teams of research institutes, higher educational institutions, industrial enterprises and individual scientists whose activities are related to scientific research, development technologies and the use of crystalline materials.

Fedkovich, Uzhgorod National University, State Enterprise “Zaporozhye Titanium and Magnesium Plant”, NPP “Karat” and others

UACG is a full member of the International Organization on Crystal Growth (IOCG).

The efforts of the UACG are aimed at supporting, developing and popularizing scientific research and applied developments in the field of obtaining and using crystalline materials, coordinating the activities of the members of the Association and assisting them in participating in national and international projects. UACG takes an active part in organizing scientific conferences on crystal growth: International Conferences on Crystalline Materials (ICCM) – 2005, 2007, 2010 (Kharkiv, Ukraine), International Seminar Schools for Young Scientists “Crystal Growth” – 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010 (Kharkiv, Ukraine).

In 2010, UACG became a co-founder of the European Network of Crystal Growth (ENCG), the main task of which is to develop cooperation between European national crystal growth associations, to hold European conferences on crystal growth (ECCG).
